We're nominated in the 'Best Special Touches' Wedding Ideas Awards 2012 and we're so excited. We're so happy to be nominated and would really, really appreciate your vote. We're so proud of our students as they achieve so much in preparation for their first dance, it makes our job worthwhile, but it's delightful to realise that others love what we do enough to vote for us.

Crazy first wedding dance!

Mr & Mrs Brubaker are to thank for starting the trend of first dance 'mash ups' and their surprise song change and funky dance routine has been watched and enjoyed by millions. What's important to note is that their routine is super simple, but it looks great as it has been well rehearsed which means the timing is spot on and it's full of confidence. It's not just their dance skills that are impressive, they also throw in great facial expressions which means they are acting as well as dancing. This type of first dance only looks good when the couple give it 100%, anything less and the comedy can become cringe worthy.

We just love The Party Times, the online magazine blog for all things party. Everything is covered, food, themes, decoration, presents, games, the list is endless. We especially love the tips, there are so many helpful 'how to' hints for weddings, such as 'how to decorate the table' and 'taking the perfect photo'. This beautiful first dance oozes grace, style and elegance and the couple look happy, relaxed and confident. The classic music is perfectly complimented by the choreography and bride’s wedding dress. Clearly these newlyweds have been dancing a long time, which is how they’ve made this well rehearsed and technical dance look effortless. However, there’s no reason why couples with less dance experience can’t pull off a simpler dance that has a similar theme. Even beginners can learn how to move around the dance floor together with ease and add some special moments with some interesting moves, such as twirls, dips and even lifts!
